Andrew Wilson’s Books
Dive into the magic of Turtley Inspired—a joyful splash of creativity and conservation! This one-of-a-kind coloring and activity book celebrates art, imagination, and caring for our shelled friends. Inside, you’ll find beautiful illustrations created by Grade 1 Turtle Guardians from Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario, Canada, with the help of their awesome teacher, Andrew Wilson. These young artists are already making a turtley big difference for turtles in the wild!
Packed with fascinating turtle facts, engaging coloring pages, and imaginative activities, Turtley Inspired invites kids to connect with nature and express their unique perspectives. Whether they’re designing turtle-safe habitats, inventing eco-friendly solutions, or bringing wetland scenes to life with color, children will be inspired to care about the world around them—and their ability to shape it.
This ReconciliAction project was created by an educator passionate about both creativity and environmental equity, as part of the Thinkering Collective’s Teacher Fellowship program.
A majority of proceeds from this book go directly to Turtle Guardians, a youth-led conservation initiative based in Ontario. Turtle Guardians are kids, families, and community members who protect turtles through science, stewardship, and education. From monitoring turtle crossings to exploring wetlands and reporting sightings to researchers, they prove that anyone—no matter their age—can help protect these amazing creatures.
