Hex 24 Press Announces Publishing Partnership with ISAD for Advanced Development: A Journal on Adult Giftedness
Hex 24 Press is honored to announce a new publishing partnership with the Institute for the Study of Advanced Development (ISAD) to support the publication and distribution of Advanced Development: A Journal on Adult Giftedness.
Founded in 1989, Advanced Development is the first and only professional journal devoted exclusively to the unique issues, experiences, and development of gifted adults. For more than three decades, the journal has served as an international forum for scholarship and dialogue related to adult giftedness, advanced development across the lifespan, counseling of the gifted, creativity, spirituality, moral development, and the inner experiences of gifted individuals.
Published by ISAD since its inception, Advanced Development has played a foundational role in shaping the field of adult giftedness and supporting professionals, researchers, counselors, educators, and gifted adults around the world.
Through this collaboration:
Hex 24 Press will support production, publishing, distribution, formatting, and promotion
Past and future volumes will become more accessible through print on demand and ebook formats
The journal will receive updated cover and formatting design while honoring its longstanding legacy
Expanded outreach efforts will increase visibility through conferences, podcasts, social media, and marketing initiatives
Hex 24 Press was founded by gifted education leader Dr. Meryl Faulkner and is dedicated to publishing works centered on education, cognitive diversity, creativity, and underserved voices. This partnership reflects a shared commitment between Hex 24 Press and ISAD to expand access to meaningful scholarship and preserve important contributions to the field of giftedness.
