Turtley Inspired: Protecting Turtles through Coloring and Creativity!

Educator-author Andrew Wilson’s first project, born out of his participation in the Thinkering Collective’s Teacher Fellowship program, this ReconciliAction project weaves together art, advocacy, and environmental stewardship.

Featuring illustrations created by Andrew’s Grade 1 students—Turtle Guardians from Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario—this one-of-a-kind coloring and activity book invites children to connect with nature, explore their creativity, and see themselves as changemakers.

A majority of proceeds support Turtle Guardians, a youth-led conservation initiative protecting turtles through science, stewardship, and education. From monitoring turtle crossings to reporting sightings, Turtle Guardians prove that anyone—no matter their age—can help protect these amazing creatures.
